So I've been dabbling in woodworking off and on over the last several years and finally have finished a few projects that I am very proud of. The first project was a simple "refinish" job of an end table. Little did I know how far from "simple" it was going to be. I tried typical chemical paint strippers you can buy at your local Home Depot, but found they didn't work too well. The best solution was good old hand sanding. I also decided to not do the legs. More out of frustration than anything.
The end result turned out much better than expected. Tami loves it and I'm very proud of it too. I think I'll stay away from refinishing for awhile.
