We have a hole!!!

After months and months of waiting, we finally have visual confirmation that our home is being built. They dug the hole yesterday and were supposed to get the foundation poured today, but not sure if that will happen or not. We're pretty excited though. As you can see from the picture, the square area in front where it is deeper is where the room will be under the garage. That will be our little home theater room. They build an engineered suspended slab for the garage floor that can support the weight of the cars and that allows for a good 450 sq foot room that doesn't have any supports at all. Because the room has concrete on all four sides, it's like a sound envelope. Anyway we'll keep the pictures coming as they continue on the construction.
